 Seeing these overwhelming benefits, who wouldn't go around the world to search for these tiny yellow fruits? Good for me though, I don't have to go far... I'd just have to pick one in my  grandparent's yard. 

One fine day, I found our house swarmed by two sack-full of rich yellow bananas. I knew that they were from my grandparents (by the way, thanks lola and lolo!) which meant they were grown naturally (without insecticides) but I also knew that yellow bananas meant ripe-now-but-overriping-soon. But having only a few members in our family, I realized we couldn't consume all of it in time. Oh no! what to do?! Such a blessing shouldn't be turned to waste.

Twink! Just then, Einstein's light bulb glowed in my head!

Oh yeah!

It's time to make some cash (*wink*)....

OUTCOME: I never really knew how many were sold, or how much I profited. But the sure thing is, I am not blessed with a business mind equipped with marketing strategies. My day of being an entrepreneur was unsuccessful. EPIC FAIL.

MANILA CATHEDRAL

also known as Manila Metropolitan Cathedral-Basilica (Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception) is a magnificent church completed in 1959. Originally, it was first established in 1571 as the church in Manila (at that time, it was made of wood) but after years of events, earthquakes and calamities; it was destroyed and rebuilt for many times-- and this is the eighth cathedral still wonderfully standing until now.

FORT SANTIAGO (Manila)

HISTORY. More fun in the Philippines.

History is what makes a place more interesting. 
Just as a plant cannot grow without its roots, we cannot understand why or how we become what we are now without history. 

Philippine History is very broad and complex that even an Einstein-like brain could not fathom all of its greatness. I don't like history and memorizing dates, which is why I am thankful to museums and preserved locations in the Philippines that can help me understand and remember (photographic memory serves me well)  even just a part of history. One of the preserved museums in Manila is Fort Santiago.

This is a fortress built in 1571.

The remnants of the infrastructures built way back before my ancestors were born serve as proof of how Filipinos value the past. 

With all the events that occurred in the Philippines -- from the day it was discovered, then conquered, then colonized, until the present day Noynoy Aquino is president, the country stands still amid the tribulations. And Filipinos remain strong. :)

Option A. Commute

from Quezon City, ride jeepneys with signboard to Quiapo/Pier that pass inside Intramuros (just ask kindly the driver to drop you off nearest to the Fort.

Option B. Taxi

Option C. (in my case) Personal car. Fortunately, the parking space at that time was almost vacant and totally free!

ENCHANTED KINGDOM (Manila)

Men or Women, Adult or Child --- anyone, no matter what age or gender one belongs, can enjoy this enchanting place. This kingdom, known to be the "Disneyland of the Philippines", fills children with happiness and takes adults in a world where they can look back and remember their childhood. 

There are exciting, thrilling, hard-core rides that fearless teenagers or young adults can enjoy, educational shows starting at 10am for learning children and just-for-luck or fortune games for adults. You can also bring souvenirs from the EK shop and if you get hungry, food stations are spread all over the place and the food court is open at 9 or 10am.

This is just a small kingdom. But if you do get lost among the pack of people, just consult MR. MAP (given at the entrance) and you're good to go!

And at the end of the day, visitors will not head home unless the 5-10 minute fireworks will be displayed.

So everyone's head looks up and be dazzled by the sparkles amid the dark night.
