I can still recall how my dad used this plant to punish me for saying "bad" words when I was a kid. Yeah, it was damn painful. It nearly burned my mouth that I ended up eating ice chips all day.
Pretty sad, huh?

DESCRIPTION:
Erect, branched, smooth, annual herb, 30-50 cms long, pointed at both ends. Flowers are solitary and axillary, 1 to 1.8 cm in diameter. Petals are white to straw-colored. Fruit is of various sizes and varieties. (source)
