If you are interested in Butterflies, then this site is perfect for you! Entrance fee is only Php 50 :) At the entrance, you will be greeted by some staff there and one will be the group's guide. There's also a butterfly exhibit or gallery (all were dead butterflies preserved in a glass case) and we were taught about the difference between a male and female butterfly.
And as far as I could remember: (sorry for being a spoiler):
The bigger butterfly is the female.
The wings of the male butterfly is more colorful than the female.
We were then led to the "cocoon" and "caterpillar" area where we could eat, uh-- i mean touch the colorful caterpillars. It was also my first time to see in person the "golden" cocoons.
Walking further, we arrived at the real garden where numerous butterflies of various colors are flying from one flower to another, probably contributing to the balance of the ecosystem through the process of pollination.
"My butterfly transformation"
When the tour was over, we bought ourselves some ice cream (claimed to be organic too!)
which costs Php 60 pesos per cup.
It was delicious, but nothing compared to the Malunggay Ice Cream at Bohol Bee Farm. :))
