Instead, we took a peek at their infamous store/restaurant selling some "bee" products and their renowned "organic" ice cream, which we looked forward for.
Upon entrance, we were greeted by this pool. I don't know how much a swim costs (but who would want to swim in front of visitors passing by?). Just my opinion, I think the location is weird. :D
(two photos below taken by Myra Escoro)
The bridge we have to cross to reach the store (and to taste the ice cream. hmm-haha!)
I have read from Bohol reviews and blogs that their organic salad here are to die for!
They are served with edible fresh flowers from the Bee garden. However, we didn't try it because we wanted to eat something cold to combat the summer heat.
...and my personal favorite: The ice cream shop
we bought LANGKA (in yellow) and MALUNGGAY (light green) flavors.
Langka - Jackfruit Malunggay - Moringa/horseradish
TRIVIA: The ice cream cones are made of "cabcab" or dried cassava
and finally, we tasted our most favorite ice cream so far:
MALUNGGAY ICE CREAM at Bohol Bee Farm.
A+. Highly recommended. Simply delicious.
A travel that satisfies the heart
and fills the brain with cherished memories.
This is TRAVEL-licious.
oh! and by the way, here is one of the "room" (the white box at the center) for the bees. :))
