This forest is named so, obviously because it is purely "man-made". (Very understandable, right?)
It is a wide 2-kilometer stretch of mahogany trees, lusciously green seemingly of the same height and same thickness. It is believed to be planted by Boholanos in the early 1900's.
There's nothing much to expect of this place but you'll be fond of the cool and fresh air with nature's scent. You'll be hearing horror stories too (our tour driver even showed us a picture of a group of tourists with a "white lady" at their back. eeeek!). This simply added to the eerie atmosphere!
And so we also made a group picture (hoping for something phenomenal)
But lo and behold! NOTHING.
Our picture is less than scary no matter how 100x we zoom in. :))
*ha-ha! nice try!*
